Swapstack was a newsletter advertising marketplace that connected independent newsletter creators with brands seeking to secure sponsorship deals. The platform was acquired by Beehiiv in September 2023 and is no longer operational as a standalone service.
What is Swapstack?
Swapstack provided a platform where newsletter writers could connect with brands for sponsorship negotiations. Writers could set their own pricing, send and receive introduction requests, and manage sponsorships. The platform generated revenue through fees charged to brands while allowing newsletter writers to keep 100% of what they charged for sponsorships. Swapstack facilitated over $2 million in payments to newsletter writers before its acquisition.
