Patreon is an American monetization platform providing business tools for content creators to run a subscription service and sell digital products globally. Launched on May 2, 2013, and headquartered in San Francisco, California.

Patreon helps artists and other creators earn recurring income by providing rewards and perks to subscribers. Hundreds of thousands of creators use Patreon to share videos, podcasts, writing, art, music, recipes, and more with their most passionate fans. A creator's page serves as their creative home where fans can explore work, connect through community group chats, and browse digital products in shops. The platform charges a commission of 8 to 12 percent of creators' monthly income plus payment processing fees. As of December 2024, Patreon recorded more than 10 million monthly paying patrons and $8 billion in total creator payouts since launch. In March 2022, Patreon announced more than 250,000 creators using the platform.
