Plausible is open-source web analytics built with Elixir/Phoenix, designed to understand website traffic while respecting user privacy. It doesn't track individual users or collect personal data, uses no cookies or persistent identifiers, and enables no cross-site or cross-device tracking. All visitor data is processed on European servers and never leaves the EU. Plausible is GDPR, PECR, and CCPA compliant by default because it doesn't collect personal data. It's cookieless by design and doesn't require analytics consent banners under GDPR. The platform tracks overall trends in aggregate only and never sells user data.
