Veo 3 is a state-of-the-art video generation model that creates high-quality video content with synchronized audio. The model understands nuanced prompts and cinematic language (like timelapse or aerial shot), providing finer creative control. Google released Veo 3.1 in October 2025 as its most advanced AI video generation model, capable of producing videos at 720p, 1080p, or 4K resolution in 16:9 landscape or 9:16 vertical formats. Base generation length is 8 seconds with ability to extend videos through chaining (adding 7-second segments) to create videos over two minutes long. The model is available only to paying subscribers of Google's AI Pro plan ($20/month) and capped at 3 videos per day. Access is available through Google Vids and Gemini in 159+ countries.
