Sendy
Sendy.co is a self-hosted email newsletter application that offers a cost-effective solution for sending bulk emails. It is powered by Amazon Simple Email Service (SES), a flexible, inexpensive email solution that allows sending email from within any application.
What is Sendy?
Sendy is a one-time purchase application where users only pay for what they send. With a Sendy plus Amazon SES combo, users can send marketing emails from their own server while only spending $0.10 per 1,000 emails and $0.12/GB for attachments. The platform features autoresponders triggered by specific events (such as new sign-ups) or time-based intervals (monthly, annually, etc.). Multi-client support allows sending emails on behalf of different accounts, and Zapier integration enables automating processes and effortlessly adding subscribers whenever they take action on other platforms. Users install it on their own web server, similar to WordPress, and need to be comfortable with basic server requirements like PHP, MySQL, and knowing their way around hosting settings.
