What is Google BigQuery?

BigQuery offers three main pricing models: free tier (10 GB storage, 1 TB queries/month), on-demand pricing ($6.25/TB), and capacity pricing through Editions with slot-based billing. The Google Cloud Free Tier includes 10 GB of data storage and 1 TB of data query processing for free each month. On-demand pricing charges $6.25 per TiB scanned, while capacity-based editions offer predictable pricing for heavier workloads. Google BigQuery has 3 different plans: Pay-as-you-go at $5.00, Flat-rate pricing at $1700.00, and Omni flat-rate at $2125.00. Storage pricing includes active storage (table/partition modified in last 90 days) and long-term storage (unmodified for 90 consecutive days), which automatically drops by approximately 50%. BigQuery does not charge for importing data or exporting data. The platform supports serverless analytics with automatic scaling, machine learning capabilities, and real-time insights.
