Flux AI image generation is built on a 12 billion parameter model that transforms text descriptions into high-quality images. Available models serve different purposes: FLUX.1 [pro] offers state-of-the-art performance with top-of-the-line prompt following, visual quality, image detail, and output diversity. FLUX.1 [dev] is an open-weight, guidance-distilled model for non-commercial applications with similar quality and prompt adherence to Pro while being more efficient. FLUX.1 [schnell] is the fastest model for local development and personal use. FLUX.2 is the next generation from Black Forest Labs. Models utilize a large T5 text encoder for better image-prompt alignment, allowing creation of complex visuals with detailed single prompts. Can generate photorealistic images, artwork, and concept designs with high fidelity.
