Botpress offers a free tier with 500 messages per month and access to the visual builder, NLU engine, and multi-channel deployment. Plus plan costs $150/month (note: some sources cite $89/month), includes 1GB Vector DB storage, human handoff for live support, and AI conversation insights with option to remove Powered by Botpress branding. Team plan includes 50,000 messages, 10 bots, 10 collaborators, 100,000 table rows, 100GB file storage, and 100GB vector DB storage with a named customer success manager. Enterprise offers custom pricing. Botpress uses a usage-based model where you select a base plan and AI Spend (cost of underlying model calls) is billed separately on top. Importantly, Botpress says they pay AI usage costs for customers, unlike most tools that mark them up. This makes the actual cost structure more transparent compared to competitors.
